The Board of Fremont County Commissioners met in Regular Session at 9:00 a.m. with the following members present: Chairman Travis Becker, Vice-Chairman Larry Allen, Jennifer McCarty and Michael Jones. Commissioner Clarence Thomas was absent. Fremont County Clerk Julie A. Freese was present for the meeting.
Larry Allen moved, Jennifer McCarty seconded, to approve the Agenda as amended. Motion carried unanimously.
Jennifer McCarty moved, Michael Jones seconded, to approve the minutes of the Regular Meeting held January 8, 2019. Motion carried unanimously.
Jennifer McCarty moved, Larry Allen seconded, to accept the bills for payment. Motion carried unanimously.

Jennifer McCarty moved, Larry Allen seconded, to accept a voucher from Cloud Peak Counseling Center in the amount of $975 for one Title 25 patient. Motion carried unanimously.
The following items in the Signature File were reviewed: 1) Thank you letter to Robert Yates for service on the Weed and Pest Control District; 2) Abatement Summary cover sheet; and 3) Record of Proceedings. Larry Allen moved, Jennifer McCarty seconded, to approve a Memorandum of Agreement among the Federal Highway Administration, Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office, and County of Fremont, Regarding the Wiggins Fork Bridge Replacement Project. Motion carried unanimously. Larry Allen moved, Jennifer McCarty second, to approve the Grant Agreement between the State of Wyoming, Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources, State Historic Preservation Office and Fremont County Historic Preservation Commission for the Audio Track for “Saving Places” a documentary film on historic preservation. Motion carried unanimously.
The following items were reviewed in the Priority Mail: 1) Tour dates for the three County Museums, tentatively set for February 5th for Pioneer Museum; March 4th for Dubois Museum and February 20th for Riverton Museum; 2) Peterson Bridge Public Meeting announcement for January 22nd at 6:00 pm at Lost Wells Fire Hall; and 3) Library Board request to fill Board position due to long term injury of a member. Jennifer McCarty moved, Larry Allen seconded, to advertise the Fremont County Library Board vacancy. Motion carried unanimously.
There was nobody present for the Public Comment period.
Discussion was held on a recent vacancy for a Lander Truck Driver. Chairman Becker had polled the other Commissioners and received verbal approval to begin advertising the vacancy. Jennifer McCarty moved, Michael Jones seconded, to ratify the decision to advertise for the vacancy for a Lander Truck Driver. Motion carried unanimously.
County Planning Department Supervisor Steve Baumann presented notice of the first of two public meetings for the Cooper Road Transportation Corridor Study. The meeting is set for January 22, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Riverton City Council Chambers.
County Coroner Mark Stratmoen presented a 2018 Case Summary & Comparison.
Coroner Stratmoen proceeded to give summary of 2018 projects:
Larry Allen moved, Michael Jones seconded, to adjourn into Executive Session with Steve Cardenas for an Exit Interview. Motion carried unanimously. Larry Allen moved, Jennifer McCarty seconded, to return to Regular Session. Motion carried unanimously.

There being no further business, Larry Allen moved, Jennifer McCarty seconded, to adjourn the meeting at 10:45 a.m. and reconvene for a Regular Meeting on January 22, 2019. Motion carried unanimously.
