Voter Qualifications. . .
- Citizen of the United States
- Resident of the State of Wyoming
- 18 years of age on election day
- Not a felon
- Not adjudicated mentally incompetent
Keep your registration current. . .
- You are registered for 2008 if you voted in the 2006 general election. (Wyoming
maintains a registry of voters. You need only register once while living in Wyoming,
provided you vote in each general election and do not move.)
- If you move to a different precinct or change your name, notify your County Clerk.
- If you move to a different county you must re-register.
- If you have questions about your registration or where you vote, call your County Clerk.
- If you have changed your name you must change it in person at the County
Clerk's office or a designated registrar.
- If you wish to change your party affiliation, you must do that IN PERSON
at the County Clerk's office or a designated registrar.
Absentee Voting: If need be, you may vote absentee. Call or write your County
Clerk for details. Remember to return your absentee ballot immediately to assure it will
be delivered to the County Clerk's office no later than 7 p.m. on election day.
Voting Assistance: If you require assistance to vote by reason of disability or
inability to read or write, you may be given assistance by a person of your choice. Also,
if you have questions regarding the accessibility of your polling place, please contact
your county clerk.
You may bring a sample ballot or your written or printed notes into the voting booth to
assist in marking your ballot.
