BURMA ROAD CLOSURES
BURMA ROAD CLOSURE SCHEDULED July 19-22
Riverton, Wyo.– Burma Road will be closed from Zuber Road to Paradise Valley Road beginning July 19 through July 22. This closure is necessary to allow for construction of a box culvert at Sand Gulch. Due to the nature of this work, the closure will be 24 hours a day and there will be no thru traffic allowed. Alternative routes include Paradise Valley, Two Valley or Eight Mile Roads.
Local law enforcement continues to provide extra patrols in the construction zone. We remind drivers to slow down, stay alert and follow all posted signs. Thank you for your patience during the reconstruction of Burma Road.

Road Closures:
- Crooks Gap Road (County Road #318) in the vicinity of Jeffrey city south to the county line is closed until further notice due to dangerous winter conditions and drifting. (Posted 3-11-11)
- Winter Road (County Road #515) from Wyoming Highway 28 south to the vicinity of the South Pass–Atlantic City road is now open. This road had been closed earlier this year due to dangerous winter conditions and drifting. (Posted 3-15-11)

Fremont County Transportation Department does not currently maintain a road condition reporting system for county maintained roads.
