NEW IN NETWORK PROVIDER: The Popo Agie Women’s Clinic is proud to announce our network participation with the county insurance, Employee Benefits Management Systems, as of September 1st, 2012. All visits from that day forward will be processed as in network with the preferred provider discount to you, the patient.

We’re excited to announce the launch of the NEW ebms.com marketing website that will take place on Monday, September 10. In unison, we will also launch the new rebranded miBenefits site.
One thing that will immediately catch your attention is the fresh, clean look of the site. You’ll also quickly recognize that you won’t navigate through the site in the traditional way that you do on most sites. That’s quite intentional. The very nature of the internet is disjointed: website visitors jump from place to place by clicking links. Once clicked, the link disappears, the screen flashes white, and you “land” at the top of yet another page. EBMS would never answer a call, put the caller on hold, and dump them to a new representative over and over, so why should our website? At the new ebms.com, you will find yourself on a guided flight across the landscape of information. Every click allows you to instantly explore without ever losing your bearings. Like our customer service, it is powerfully different, in a very good way.
Finally, you’ll hear a different tone in our message. EBMS is not a traditional TPA, or a typical company, for that matter. Rather, EBMS is a strategic healthcare family comprised of hard workers, innovators and experts committed to transforming their own wellbeing as well as the wellbeing of their families, our clients’ organizations, and our communities. This new website better reflects that focus, along with the benefits of a partnership with EBMS.
Important information you and your members (and others from your organization) will need to know about the new website:
- Q: What type of browser will I need to view the new website?
A: Our new website requires a modern web browser, and works on IE7+, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. If you have a version of Internet Explorer older than version 7, you can download an update at http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/internet-explorer/downloads/ie.
- Q: Where will I login to miBenefits?
A: Users will click on LOGIN from the same section of the website (upper left corner) to get to the main login page where they will input username/password (or get the “help” links). We did remove the miBenefits logo and area where the user inputs their Username, but as you recall, that didn’t lead them anywhere except the staging page where they were still required to input their password before accessing the site. On our new site, all Users (members/brokers/plan administrators/providers) will simply click LOGIN on the main page and be directed to that same staging page where they will now enter both Username and Password.
- Q: Where will I find forms, miBenefits Demos, and links to our FTP Site or Client Reporting Services (labeled “On Demand Reporting”) that were found on the home page or within Benefit Resources section of the former www.ebms.com site?
A:You can access these resources through the quick link at the top navigation bar, or by selecting Clarity from a vertical navigation bar on the RIGHT side of your screen (clarity is the last selection), or by clicking on the word Clarity (in the graphic images on any of the interior pages).
- Q: Where are the links for our customer satisfaction and CareLink SURVEYS?
A: You can access these resources through the quick link at the top navigation bar, or by selecting Clarity from a vertical navigation bar on the RIGHT side of your screen (clarity is the last selection), or by clicking on the word Clarity (in the graphic images on any of the interior pages).
- Q: Why are some of the forms that were available on the former www.ebms.com site not available in the Resources (Clarity) page of the new site?
A: The most commonly used forms for all EBMS-administered health plan members will be featured on this site. All other forms (such as Flex Reimbursement, HSA reimbursement, etc.) have been moved into miBenefits. We did so for two important business reasons: 1) www.ebms.com is our marketing site that communicates reasons individuals want to work with EBMS; and, 2) miBenefits should be known by our members, employers, providers and brokers as “the one stop shop for all claims and benefits information, 24/7.” By driving members to this site to access the forms they need, they can also obtain additional information about their benefits. Increased utilization of the site can drive customer satisfaction and decrease our costs of doing business. Please note: we are also creating LINKS from the Wiki for our internal team members to help them quickly access all of these common forms, should a member or provider call in to request them.
As the site is launched, we hope you’ll take a few minutes to experience the site for yourselves. Also, we ask that you forward this to your members and others within your organization as another reminder of the upcoming change that they will experience when they visit EBMS’ website.
